Many men are carrying more than they realize.

Stress at work, relationship struggles, pressure to provide, or the weight of old wounds can show up as anger, withdrawal, irritability, or simply feeling numb. Too often, men are taught to ignore their emotional needs, to suck it up, and to push through, but research shows this silence only increases stress, depression, and even physical health risks.

Therapy offers men something that can too often feel in short supply, a completely confidential and nonjudgmental space where you don’t have to perform, compete, or have all the answers. It’s a place to explore your inner world, heal from past wounds, and grow into a version of yourself that feels more grounded, capable, and free.

I love working with men because I see how much strength it takes to carry the pressures they often face and how rarely they’re given space to lay that burden down. Research shows that men are less likely to seek mental health support, even though they are nearly four times more likely to die by suicide. Men are also more likely to cope through substance use or by shutting down emotionally, which can damage relationships, negatively impact overall health, and lead to earlier deaths. I believe therapy can be a powerful counterweight to those risks: a safe, confidential place where men can be honest, find relief, and build healthier ways of navigating life’s demands.

My approach to working with men is straightforward, supportive, and practical. I focus on giving you tools that fit real life, not just theory. At the same time, I also create space to look deeper when you’re ready, helping you uncover the patterns and pressures that may be holding you back. I bring curiosity instead of judgment, and I respect that opening up can take time. Together, we work at a pace that feels right for you, building trust, skills, and a stronger sense of self.
